Terms of Service

[Important] Please carefully read the following Terms of Service before Member Registration.
Your rights and obligations when using this Service are defined in Terms of Service. By clicking on the [I agree. Go to "create new account."] button, you agree to all conditions in these Terms of Service.
Article 1 (Members)

1. “Members” refers to individuals who have made an application for membership upon following the procedures established by the Company and agreeing to these Terms of Service.
2. “Member Information” refers to information such as that related to the particulars of the Member that the Member has disclosed to the Company, and records related to transactions with the Member.
3. These Terms of Service shall apply to all Members, and shall be followed during registration procedures and after registration.

Article 2 (Registration)

1. Member Qualifications
Upon giving consent to these Terms of Service, clients who have made an application for membership as prescribed will have qualification as a Member after completing the prescribed procedures for registration.  The person who desires to become a Member should carry out the procedures for membership registration.  Registration by proxy is not permitted under any circumstance.  It should be noted that applications for membership from persons whose membership qualifications have been revoked in the past, and / or from those who have been deemed inappropriate by the Company for other reasons, may be denied.

2. Inputting Member Information
When completing procedures for Member Registration, please carefully read the instructions for inputting, and properly input the required items on the designated input form.  Special symbols, old Chinese characters, and Roman numerals cannot be used in registering Member Information.  If these characters are registered, the Company will change them.

3. Managing Passwords
(1) Passwords shall be available for use by the Member only.  They are not allowed to be transferred / loaned to a third party.
(2) Members themselves should take on the responsibility to manage their passwords by doing things such as periodically changing them so that others will not learn them.
(3) Expressing one’s intentions to the Company through use of the password is deemed as the intentions expressed by the Members themselves.  Therefore, all payments and such that are incurred will be the responsibility of the Member.

Article 3 (Changes)

1. If there are changes in items a Member reported to the Company, such as name or address, the Member shall immediately contact the Company.
2. The Company will not bear any responsibility at all for damages that are incurred due to failing to register changes.  In addition, please note that even if changes are registered, transactions that have already proceeded before such registration of changes shall be based on information before the registered changes.

Article 4 (Closing Your Account)

If a Member wishes to close his or her account, the person who desires to close the account should carry out the procedures to close the account himself or herself.  After completing the designated procedures for closing the account, the account will be closed.

Article 5 (Losing Membership Qualification and Obligation for Compensation)

1. If false reports are made when applying to obtain membership qualifications, or if there is failure to fulfil payment obligations from mail order, or if there are other reasons the Company deems inappropriate for a Member, the Company shall be able to invalidate membership qualifications.
2. If a Member commits an act as defined in any of the following items, he or she will bear responsibility for compensating damaged incurred by such act to the Company.
(1) Improper use of Member Number or password
(2) Interference with the operations of the Company such as by accessing this website and tampering with information, or by sending a harmful computer program to its website.
(3) Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights of products the Company deals in
(4) Other acts that transgress these Terms of Service

Article 6 (Managing Member Information)

1. The Company, in principle, does not disclose Member Information to a third party without prior consent from the Member.  However, in the following cases, the Company shall be able to disclose Member Information and other customer information without prior consent from the Member.
(1) When disclosure is demanded based on law or regulations
(2) When the Company deems it necessary in order to protect the rights, profits, reputation, etc. of the Company
2. The Company manages Member Information following the Company’s “Initiatives in Protecting Personal Information.”  The Company shall be able to use Member Information for the purpose of plans to provide services to Members, improve services, promote the use of services, and to secure sound and smooth operations of services.
3. The Company shall be able to provide information to Members through newsletters and other methods (including advertising).  If a Member does not wish to be provided with such information, such information will not be sent if the Member provides notification of such desire in accordance with the method prescribed by the Company.  However, as for providing information required for the operation of this Service, Members cannot terminate such.

Article 7 (Prohibited Matters)

With the use of this Service, Members are prohibited from committing the following acts.

1. Violation of laws and ordinances, or of these Terms of Service, cautions upon using this Service, cautions upon purchase of this Service, other items in these Terms of Service, etc.
2. Damage to the Company’s or any other third party’s rights, profits, reputation, etc.
3. Acts that pose a risk of having bad effects on the mind and body of youth, or other acts that violate standards of decency
4. Committing acts that cause trouble to other users and / or other third parties, and acts that cause apprehension
5. Inputting false information
6. Transmitting or writing harmful computer programs, e-mail, etc.
7. Improper access to the Company’s server or other computers
8. Lending / transferring passwords to a third party, or sharing with a third party
9. Other acts the Company deems inappropriate

Article 8 (Interruption, Suspension, etc. of Service)

1. In order to maintain satisfactory operating statuses for this Service, the Company may suspend all or part of Services provided, without prior notice, if one of the following items is applicable.
(1) If required in order to make periodic or emergency maintenance of the system
(2) If the system becomes overloaded
(3) If operation of the system becomes difficult due to fire, blackout, interference from a third party, etc.
(4) If the Company deems it unavoidable and necessary to suspend the system for other reasons

Article 9 (Changes / Discontinuance of Services)

The Company shall be able to make appropriate changes to, or discontinue all or part of this Service, without prior notice, at its own discretion.

Article 10 (Exemptions)

1. The Company shall bear no responsibility whatsoever to Members for damages incurred to communication channels, computers, etc., due to damages incurred through interruptions, delays, suspensions, loss of data, or improper access to data, or for other damages related to the Company’s services.
2. The Company does not guarantee that harmful items such as computer viruses will not be contained in e-mail contents sent from the Company’s website, server, domain, etc.
3. The Company will not bear any responsibility whatsoever for damages incurred due to violation of these Terms of Service and such by a Member.

Article 11 (Revisions to these Terms of Service)

The Company shall be able to revise these Terms of Service at its own discretion, and / or, the Company can set stipulations supplemental (hereinunder referred to as “Supplemental Provisions”) to these Terms of Service.  Revisions and supplementations to these Terms of Service shall be in effect when the revised Terms of Service and / or supplemental provisions are posted on to the Company’s designated website.  In such a case, Members will follow the Terms of Service after any revision and / or any supplemental provisions.

Article 12 (Applicable Law, Court of Jurisdiction)

If a dispute arises concerning these Terms of Service, the first court with jurisdiction shall be the district court which has jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s head office.
